Nadia Barkema is a Master Stylist at JOY Salon in Armstrong BC. Nadia has 14 years experience doing hair and has previously owned two other hair salons. The photos shown in this post show a balayage hair colour done by Nadia. Nadia would still love to build more clients at JOY Salon as we have only been open for two months (Since December 2017).
A balayage hair colour is a method of applying colour to hair so that the hair remains natural looking. Often the roots are left close to natural so that there is little maintenance required as the colour grows out. The colour can be applied by free-hand painting and in combination with foils as is the case for this photoshoot. Free-hand painting colour allows for more creativity, while foils allow for more precise control over the colour separation.
This is a beautiful and trendy look, that is easy to maintain.
